Female iconography in ancient Mexico: ancient figurines, breastpots, reliefs, and murals. Teotihuacán, Remojadas, Tamtoc, Puebla. Corn mothers, Maya creation stories and ceramic paintings, Aztec and Huastec goddess sculptures in stone and clay, and the Cihuateteo. Ceramic sculptures, from female ball players in Guerrero to female shamans from Jalisco and Colima, murals, codex paintings. Huichol art, the pueblos at Paquime/Casas Grandes, and the survival of Tonantzin in La Guadalupana.
